An adverb is a word that tells us more about a verb, an adjective or another adverb.
- Adverb of manner tells us how or in what manner an action has been conducted.
- Adverb of place tells where or at which place an action is done.
- Adverb of time indicates the time of an action or sometimes the duration of an action and answers the question ‘when’.
- Adverb of frequency tells us how often or how frequently the action takes place.
- Adverb of degree tells the intensity of an action and modifies an adjective, a verb or another adverb.
- Adverb of interrogation is sued to ask question.
