In today’s time, plastic bags are present just anywhere and everywhere. They have become an indispensable part of our lives. What we don’t realise is that they cause us a lot of harm.
A lot of people wrap food articles in them also, without realising that they harm the food articles. Another great disadvantage of using poly bags is that of dispensing them as they are non-biodegradable.
When people throw them in drains, the drains get choked. They are the major constituents of river pollution. Animals eat them from garbage heaps and die. If someone tries to burn them, then they cause a lot of air pollution.
So, we should stop using poly bags so as to save our environment and our Mother Earth.
