Life in a Metro city is hectic as places are far apart. The travelling expenses burn a big hole in the common man’s pocket. The arrival of the Delhi Metro is a relief. It has made commuting so much easy, cheap and fast. It is also a safe mode of transport and affordable for all. The Metro Rail in Delhi has also helped in easing out road traffic and thus reducing the pollution in Delhi which otherwise used to remain covered in a cloud of smoke during the evening. The Metro Rail is gradually becoming the lifeline of Delhi as more and more destinations are being taken into the Metro Network.
