Degree of Comparison – Exercises for Class 8

Positive degree is used when there is no comparison. Example: a fast car, a big house, a beautiful girl.

Comparative degree is used when we compare two people, things, or qualities. Example: a faster car, a bigger house, a more beautiful girl.

Superlative degree is the highest degree of quality. It is used when more than two things or people are compared. Example: the fastest car, the biggest house, the most beautiful girl.
