In a survey conducted in the National Capital across twenty schools on the areas of interest of the children in the age group 13 to 15 years, some interesting data was thrown up. The survey indicated that music related activities were most sought after, with sixty percent (60%) of the children showing a general inclination towards it. Cricket turned out to be the second most popular activity with forty percent (40%) of the students being avid game players. Theatre occupied the interests of thirty-five percent (35%) of the respondents surveyed. Finally, Art and Dance each seem to have captured the imagination of twenty-five percent (25%) of the children. It is seen that each child is unique with a different set of interests. Of course, the survey was limited to the National Capital and by any means, it cannot be extrapolated as the interests of children across the country.
