Prepositions – Exercises for Class 8

Preposition is a word that is placed before a noun or a pronouns to show its relation to some other word in a sentence. It has not fixed meaning of its won and it derives its meaning from the context it is used in. The commonly used prepositions are – to, with, into, in, for, by, below, under, down, about, off.
